INDOMADOR

The artist, present in every moment, will give soul to each of the characters in the story, which will undoubtedly lead us to question the presence of the human in the animal, and the animal in the human, the masculine and the feminine, and the relationship between them all.

What is animal and what is human?

Absorbed in his thoughts, he transforms the stage into a kind of menagerie in which he himself appears as a human rooster. The staging involves the presence of multiple elements that first become protagonists and then merge into the set.

THE CRITICS SAID

“A mixture of beings, genders, and natures that take shape through the blending of different disciplines: music, dance, circus… merging to create a production without words – yet supported by a wide and expressive range of sounds and, above all, by carefully crafted bodily gestures – striking and engaging.”
Núria Sabat (Recomana.cat, 27/11/2015)

“Unclassifiable, it is a piece with a touch of explosive genius that manages to provoke laughter, admiration for the balances, the gestures, and the display of various circus techniques, as well as for the hilarious and uninhibited narrative of the proposal.”
Jordi Sora (Núvol, 25/04/2014)

“A show capable of captivating even those least familiar with the circus world. The company Animal Religion moves between reason and the wildest instincts, and even in the most sophisticated routines they are able to find their equivalent in the forms of the animal kingdom.”
Aída Pallarès (Núvol, 31/08/2015)
